AI & Automation Audit, Newcastle and the Hunter
Find out what to automate
before you pay to build it.
Most automation projects fail at the choosing stage, not the building stage. We map how work actually flows through one process or your whole business, score every opportunity on value and effort, and hand you a ranked roadmap in hours and dollars that you can act on with us or without us.
Automation ROI Calculator
Pick the repetitive tasks, enter how often they happen and who does them, and get a conservative-to-optimistic estimate of what automating them is worth over three years. Takes about 60 seconds. Bring the result to your Problem First Call.

Why audit first
Three things you get from a proper audit that you will not get from a vendor demo.
A ranked list, not a wish list
Every opportunity is scored on the value of fixing it and the effort to fix it, using a Lean Six Sigma method refined across more than a thousand documented processes.
Numbers you can take to the bank
The top opportunities are quantified in hours and dollars a year, shown as a conservative-to-optimistic range with the assumptions on the page.
A roadmap that is yours to keep
Build it with us, take it to another provider or run it in-house. Either way you leave with a clear picture of your own operations that you did not have before.
This is for you if
- Your team has been through AI training and keeps asking "could this be automated?"
- Your team is flat out and you could not say precisely where the hours go
- The same information gets typed into two or three different systems
- You have been quoted for an automation or AI project and have no way to judge whether it is worth it
- You know there is waste in there somewhere, but not where
- You tried automating something once and it did not stick
- You want to do this properly rather than buying whatever gets demonstrated to you first
How it works
How the audit works
Four stages, scoped to one process or the whole business.
Before the day
We start with your business, not your software. A short conversation about what you are trying to achieve, what is in the way, and where the pressure is. For larger teams there is a short survey before we arrive, so the day starts from a useful place. If your team has been through our training program, we start from the opportunity list they built.
On site
This is where the real work happens. We speak to people at both ends of the business, leadership and the people doing the work, because the view from the top and the view from the floor are rarely the same. We map the processes, look at the systems and documents you already have, and where it helps, watch the work being done and time it. The goal is an accurate picture, not a flattering one.
Scoring
Every opportunity we find gets scored on two axes: the value of fixing it, and the effort to fix it. That produces a ranked list rather than a wish list. The top opportunities are quantified in hours and dollars, with a conservative, typical and optimistic range.
The walk-through
We present the findings in a working session, not a slide deck sent by email. You will see the full map of what we found, and a clear recommendation on where to start, including a first improvement you could see inside 30 days.
What you walk away with
A process map
A clear picture of how work actually flows through your business today.
A scored opportunity register
Every opportunity we identified, rated on value and complexity, with the evidence behind each score.
Your top 3 to 7 opportunities
Ranked, with the impact quantified in hours and dollars a year.
A one-page risk snapshot
Where AI or automation touches customer data, money or decisions about people, and what that means for you.
An implementation roadmap
What to do first, second and third, what each stage involves, and a 30-day first win.
A working session
We present it in person and answer questions, rather than emailing a PDF. The document itself is yours to keep.
Three ways in
Start at the size that fits the problem
Not every business needs the full day on day one. These are the three shapes the work comes in, from half a day on one process to a full day across the whole operation.
Single-process audit
One team or one painful process
We sit with the people who do the work, time it, map it and leave you with a scored list of what to fix. The quickest way to find out whether the bigger opportunities are real. The first Hunter business to run one moved straight into ongoing work the same day.
Whole-business audit
Every process, ranked
The full investigation described on this page: conversations at both ends of the business, a scored register of every opportunity, your top items quantified in hours and dollars, and a roadmap presented in a working session.
Second opinion on an AI quote
A few days
Been quoted for an AI system or automation project? We give you a plain buy, build, wait or stop call, check the quote against the usual red flags (demo-only proof, unpredictable pricing, lock-in, vague data handling) and suggest a short pilot if it is worth testing.
Start with a number
What is the repetitive work actually costing you?
Before you book anything, run your own numbers. The calculator was built from the same method we use in the audit: time per task, how often it happens, who does it, and a loaded hourly cost. It deliberately shows a range rather than one shiny figure, because an honest estimate beats an impressive one.
If the range makes you sit up, the audit turns it into real figures from your own business. If it doesn't, you have saved yourself a meeting.

The Problem First Call is fifteen minutes on one problem and tells you whether there is something worth looking into. The audit is a proper investigation: we speak to your team, map the work, and put numbers against specific opportunities. One is a conversation. The other is a deliverable you can make decisions from.
