A CRM built around how a technology business actually sells
records migrated and cleaned
The Challenge
A technology business's sales pipeline lived in a spreadsheet-style database with typos, inconsistent industry labels and contacts missing details, and every website enquiry had to be copied in by hand.
The Solution
We built a custom CRM with a drag-and-drop pipeline, linked record pages, AI summary cards, configurable follow-up rules and an automation that turns website enquiries into leads, then migrated and cleaned 150 existing records.
The Outcome
150 records migrated and cleaned, one view of leads and conversations, and website enquiries landing in the CRM automatically.
The client
A technology business with a growing pipeline of leads and conversations to manage.
The challenge
The business's pipeline lived in a spreadsheet-style database. It held useful history, but also typos, inconsistent industry labels, contacts missing surnames and a LinkedIn field holding an email address. Website enquiries had to be copied in by hand, so follow-ups depended on someone remembering.
The approach
Fix the data while moving it, and design the system around the questions the business asks every week: who needs a follow-up, which deals are going quiet and where each lead came from.
The solution
We built a custom CRM and migrated 150 records across companies, contacts, activities and opportunities, correcting data issues on the way. It includes:
- A drag-and-drop pipeline board
- Record pages that roll every activity up to the company
- AI summary cards for each contact, company and deal
- A settings area for custom fields and follow-up rules
- An assistant that searches activity notes
- Website enquiries that arrive as leads automatically, with spam protection
The results
One clean record of every lead and conversation, with no re-keying from the website and clear prompts for who needs a follow-up next.
